About Jørgen Lønø Photography
I am a hobby photographer who have always enjoyed taking pictures. It used to be family, holidays, and other daily happenings. But I have now stepped up that game and put more focus into the art of photography.
I live in Asker outside Oslo in Norway. It is only 20 minutes outside Oslo, but still very quiet with friendly nature. The climate in the Oslo area is clearly divided in four seasons, which gives a photographer an enormous choice of scenes and objects. In the winter, the temperatures are normally well below zero celsius, snow and ice, long blue hours, clear air and very colourful sunsets/sunrises. In the spring everything comes back to life. In the summer it hardly gets dark, the temperatures are pleasant, and the light moves from very bright during the day to soft and bluish pink during the night. The wildlife is abundant, and given the light nights, easy to spot.
In my photos I try to capture the different moods, light, flowers and wildlife. I also travel around Norway, and will post photos from Northern Norway, especially the beautiful Vesterålen.
You will also find cityscapes, landscapes and wildlife from travels abroad, as well as B&W photos and photos with a more artistic twist.
